im leagal!!!

Lovies,

So something rally cool happened this week, I BECAME LEGAL (also that i can drink and buy alcohol where ever)!!! I am still waiting to pick up my id card but i had the appointment and everything. A lot is happening over the next month with me becoming legal and being able to get the museum card (i have been DYING to go), registering at the address and more things like that. None of that really changes how i feel or anything, besides me not needing to bring my passport around with me anymore, which actually gives me a lot of anxiety, lol.

Nothing big happened besides that news, at least during the week. I had a great time with the girls and slowly becoming closer and closer with them and the parents. I also went on a quick journey to the Cherry Blossom park with a girl from my Dutch class.

On the 28th i celebrated my dad. All the love he brought into the world has to released. It became so clear to me that wthout his love i wouldnt be on this journey of mine. How ever hard it was (and still is) I, and my family were all made into something new. We all learned a valuable lesson from a sudden death. Even if they were all different, we all grew for the better. Obviously i never wanted that event to happen but we cant go back in time, so why dwell on it while you can use that circumstances to your advatnage. And in his honor, and love of beer, I went to a small pub down the street from me and had a few for him, my brother, and my mom.

This weekend i went to Urtecht with my friend Kate. We met up in Amsterdam and then took the train. Utrecht is beautiful, like better than Amsterdam for sure. It has way less tourists and feels more special almost. My favorite part was that the canals were lower than the streets. Meaning you could walk down to the canals and sit. There were a lot of resturants along the canals and we just picked a random one.

After we ate, we walked around a little more and discovered some other pretty sites. Most of Utrect is rebuilt because in the second world war, most of the city was destroyed. We could tell that the faces of the buildings seemed newer than Amsterdam. Also, many buildings were being repaired so not as many great pictures.

We went backto Amsterdam and we went to the Sky Lounge which was very nice, but we didnt have a drink because they were WAY to expensive, but the view was amazing! We decided to go to a little pub we had walked past during the other day.

Sunday we woke up and got some coffee and I showed Kate around the area i live in. By the way, coffee is so much better here than in the states.

Well babes, that was my week.

xoxo m
