Hello loverz

SO when i left you last week i had a fun little night out with some friends and we went to Bourbon Street which has a localband play. The music is kinda like hip jazz, it was funky cool. Before we went out we guzzled a lot of wine, i mean we enjoyed it and none of us really meant to get to the point where we were. i tried warm wine, like one that you actually heat up and it was themost amazing thing ive tried. It reminded me of winter and family and everything. So we had a great night and got some snacks after we left the bar then we decided to part ways, which was on bikes. I have drunk rode before soi wasnt very worried, there isnt much you have to look out for at 4 am so i know i would only be endangering myself. And i did… i was crossing over the tram tracks and realized i made an error in directions and turned left a little, which led my tire right in line with the tram line. Then i just toppled over. I was completly shocked and embarrassed as four random guys run towards me asking if im alright. I was but damn all my coolness literaly left my body at that moment. But i got back on and kept riding. (my handle bars were fucked up and went a little to the left so  had to ride with my arms slanted until i got home). Then, i was home safe and i decided to facetime my friend Chloe from back home bcause it was a perfect time and i could stay outside to talk and still be connected to my home wifi. So we talked, great, love her. Then go to unlock the door and BOTH locks are locked. Problem = i only have the main key. (found out later that the dad saw keys that he thought were mine so they locked up all the way). So i call my mom and im like help what do i do? Its like 5 am and theyll wake up at 8ish so thats still 3 hours. They dont sleep with their phones so i cant call them, and knocking at the door wont do much especially because they have kids sleeping there too. So i decide to look up hotels that i could possibly just go to and sit at cause what else is open that early? but then… my saving grace. I hear Nena crying… my opportunity is here, so i knock and then Fleur opens the door for me and is like wtf and im just like sorry, i didnt have the other key… I guess the good thing is that now i wont ever leave without the other key. lol so fun night for me.

 

Wednesday the 8th was the huge AjX game which they havent been in for 27 years or something crazy like that. Its the soccer team here and let me tell ya, people go NUTZ!! Its like how Americans are with football. Oh and AJX lost in the last 6 seconds and everyone was crying. It was the weirdest night, but so fun.

Thursday 9th of May is both Veerle and Fleur’s birthday. So we celebrated for the next couple days and they went to a huge ammusement park that i think would be like disney but more local. They explained it as like a huge tradition, like they both went there when they were kids. So thats dope. But yeah it was super cute to see how happy Veerle was and how special she felt. Also Fleur, she obviously gave Veerle the lime light, but her and Jeroen went away for the weekend to celebrate her, which was awesome.

Saturday i went to delft, it is such a cute little town. I need to go out and visit more towns on the weekends because i have a free train pass so like why not you know. But Jules and i went to a house party her boyfriends friends were throwing. It was HUGE. Like we had to pay to get in. But then unlimited beer that night so SCORE.  But honestly it was just so odd and i was so confused by it lol. It just makes me miss having like a lot of friends and going out just isnt as fun when youre not with your people. And it doesnt help that im now like completely socially awkward 🙂 The night ended well and i decided to jus go back to the Dam that morning since it was 6am when we left haha.

Well thats kinda all i have, really lame and havng another tough week!!!
