the look

hi loverz,

okay this is a draft that i wrote awhile ago and am just now actually finishng cause at first i hated it but now i like it lol. Im introducing this writing as a depiction on the Amsterdam look.

So, women here are literally goddesses. Its actually really hard to look at them and feel good about yourself. and the worst part? They legit have like no makeup on their style is killer.

It has really inspired me to break out of the makeup scene, and if you knew me before, you’d know that i was obssesed with makeup. Like the kind where i would have lots of eyeshadow palettes just to kinda look at the colors and put it on my face to take it off an hour later. But now i really dont wear it. I still have an obsession with highlighter so i put that on my face everyday. but, im being inspired to break away from that and really looking at my own skin without makeup.

& im not saying i started hating makeup but i just dont need to put it on to feel like im pretty, ive starting feeling prettier without it all. but it does get so freaking annoying that everyone has the no makeup makeup look so perfect. like it looks like they just blink and they’re ready… I now know people do the permanint makeup thing like theyget tattoed eyebrows and tints and yeah. 

My style has never been better. and I dont try and fit in with their style but like because its so simple and practical that i have used the way ive seen people style themselves as a way to style myself. I use way more colors than the dutch women tend to use, and i sometimes go out in hoodies which is like not a thing here i feel.

Also, the clothes they wear. Like perfect. PERFECTION. its just effortless too. It reminds me of what the LA models wear, just like pants and a shirt but they spice it up with accessories. and thats what i was really shopping for before coming here, like i realized i had enough clothes and i wanted to start looking for like jewlery and hair stuff, along with shoes and jackets. they make things way more fun! Im also so obsessed with bags/ purses but idont buy them here cause i only use toes bags cause i always need more things when i lave the house. idk what it is ut i feel like during the day my bag jus gets full of nothing. its so weird. I feel lke its cause i dont have a car backseat like my tote bag is equivelant to my backseat in my car.
